The golf painter:

„Es ist die emotionale Atmosphäre, die mich an der Golfcourse-Malerei interessiert. Meine Bilder sind eine Kombination dessen, was sichtbar in der Natur erscheint, und meinem eigenen Gefühl für die Stimmung der Golflandschaften und der Golfer.
Es gibt keine Menschen in den Bildern weil sie das Bild zu spezifisch auf den Typ der Person ausrichten. Ich möchte, dass sich die Betrachter selbst in das Bild hineinversetzen. Die Malerei bietet Möglichkeiten, verschiedene emotionale Zustände auszudrücken. Ich möchte die Bilder mit Licht, Tiefe, Gestalt und Atmosphäre der jeweiligen Golfcourse füllen. Gleichzeitig sollen Konzentration und Spannung des Spiels empfunden werden.“
